What is God of War Sons of Sparta?

Join young Kratos and Deimos, sons of Sparta, on a Greek odyssey as they discover the meaning of duty and honor.

Every legend has a beginning – before he was a God, before he was a father, Kratos was a young Spartan.

Experience an untold chapter in Kratos’ journey set during the harsh years of Spartan training alongside his brother Deimos. Through endless trials, their minds, bodies and hearts have been molded to become Spartan soldiers for whom duty and honor mean everything.

After a fellow cadet goes missing, Kratos and Deimos vow to find him and embark on an adventure that will put their training and Spartan spirit to the test.

Story

No Spartan left behind

Kratos, the stoic and responsible elder brother, and the younger, brash but brave Deimos return to the God of War series like you’ve never seen before, in a story never experienced before.

When a cadet goes missing, the brothers must rely on their skills to find and rescue the boy. Though their training is not yet complete, even the youngest Spartan has been taught the importance of duty. Kratos and Deimos are prepared to face terrible danger, even death, if it means saving a brother-in-arms.

Does God of War Sons of Sparta have an online or multiplayer experience?

God of War Sons of Sparta is a single-player story experience. After completing the main campaign, you’ll unlock The Pit – an end-game roguelite challenge mode that can be played solo or in two-player local (offline) couch co-op. Once unlocked, The Pit is available from the main menu.

Normally The Pit is accessible only after you beat the main story to ensure those who attempt it are familiar with both Kratos’ Spartan arms and the foes you will face. But if you feel ready to test your skills earlier, you can input this sequence below in the starting menu to unlock it early:

Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, L1, R1, Touchpad

Once entered, you will see a new option on your menu that can be used to take you into the challenge mode.

Which languages does God of War Sons of Sparta support?

The languages available to you depend on the region in which you purchase the game and your language settings.
